12-11-13 -- Accountability

December 11 2013           Its been a little while since i updated the web site ---   I am going to try to tackle some subjects daily in hopes of providing some good information/reading material/ ideas & motivation

Accountability

I have been working on some related fitness goals on a personal level  -- I have a pretty good consultant/coach  in my corner that i stay accountable to somewhat as i try to implement my ideas on myself----as well, i have personal goals i still want to achieve in amateur  sport , and the dedicated sports specific coach i employ helps keep me focused on those goals, as well as provides me with a sounding board for bouncing ideas off of ----  we all need to network at times

 .
Professional athletes as an example, often rely on multiple coaches - a pro triathlete can feasibly have a different consultant for every aspect of the sport (swim, bike, run) as well as working closely with a doctor to monitor fitness levels to prevent over training.   A pro baseball player still has a swing coach - as does a pro golfer , and these are people who have mastered their craft.   A top level bodybuilder may have a dedicated nutrition expert to help them dial in their look prior to a show

Genetics, hard work and determination can take a person far -- and for many, that may be all they ever need, but a lot of elite athletes stretch those factors to the limit as well as rely on expert consultation to help them stay sharp and dialled - in

Its been slow in the claims profession for many of us , i know , -- so it has given me some time to think about the direction i would like to take my concept here in the upcoming storm year

I have added a Concept 2 and a Lemond spin bike to my personal studio and hope to add more equipment as time and resources permit  , with the idea of equipping a V-nose enclosed to haul with me to Cat-sites for use by myself and other adjusters who need some on-site direction, or tips and tricks on how to maximize what little equipment we may have available to us on the road -- but thats a subject i will broach in a second blog entry , as its time to get to work now !
